About
Hi, we’re TabTally.
We built TabTally because splitting expenses with people you like should feel simple, not stressful.
TabTally started where many trips end: screenshots of receipts in chat, a calculator open, and someone quietly absorbing the difference because asking feels awkward. We wanted a better default.
The idea is straightforward: everyone logs what they paid, TabTally keeps a running tally, and settle-up shows the smallest set of transfers to make things fair. Equal splits, itemized splits, direct IOUs, and multi-currency trips all resolve to clear numbers.
We are built in Malaysia, and it shows in the defaults and the details: ringgit first, practical group flows, and support for the real spending scenarios that happen every week.
What we believe
The core stays free
Tracking, splitting, and settling are free today, and the everyday product stays free. If we add optional paid features later, we'll be explicit about what changes.
Money talk should be easy
Nobody likes chasing RM 23.50. TabTally keeps the totals clear so your group chat stays about the plan, not the accounting.
Built for here, works anywhere
Ringgit-first defaults, local sensibilities, and live rates across 150+ currencies when the squad leaves the country.
